Mrs Hinch fans' hack for removing tissue from washed clothes in 5 minutes 'never fails'

Many of us will be familiar with the utter nuisance it can be to leave a tissue in clothes during a wash - thankfully Mrs Hinch fans have been on hand to share their hack to beat it

There's nothing more aggravating than realising you've accidentally left a tissue in your trouser pocket when sticking clothes in the washing machine.

It's a menace to get rid of, as the tissue disintegrates and leaves small balls of paper all on your clothes, as well as white marks.

But thankfully, fans of cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch, real name Sophie Hinchliffe, have revealed the best way to get rid of the pesky tissue - and the best bit is that it only takes a few minutes.

Mrs Hinch is a cleaning sensation with an online following of over four million people. Fans of hers often post advice and cleaning tips on their dedicated Cleaning Tips Facebook page to help others with home improvement ideas.

In a recent post, one person wrote: "How do you get tissue bits off clothes coming out of the washing machine?"

Following the post, many people flooded the comments with their advice on how to get rid of tissue remains from clothes - but one tip stuck out.

And that was to pop the clothes in none other than the tumble dryer which apparently banishes the tissue in just a few minutes.

One person wrote: "If you have a tumble dryer this should do the trick."

While another stated: "Shake and tumble dry, always works for me."

A third penned: "I find the tumble dryer is the best way. It only needs five minutes in there. Works every time."

"My husband is the culprit in our house, drives me mad. I tumble dry the garments," explained another.

Somebody else added that you could add a few dryer sheets to the cycle to make the clothes smell nice.

They said: "Tumble dry with a few good quality dryer sheets. They have a slightly rougher texture than supermarket own brands and help lift off bits. Smell good too."

The original poster was elated with the advice, as they wrote: "Thanks everyone! I got them off by putting the clothes in the tumble drier, all bits ended up in the filter."
